Jesus isn’t afraid of your reality. He knows it. He knew when He called you to Him what you were facing, even before you did. As her eyes and ears opened to the healing that was taking place, Jesus explains to her that worshipping him requires spirit and truth. And the amplified version wraps this up perfectly, describing truth as reality. The reality was she was in an unhealthy cycle of relationships. The reality was that was she was hurting. The reality was she needed healing. And Jesus had a good plan for her life, but until she faced reality, she would remain trapped and bound by the chains of lies.
I have learned that just because people occupy the same space as me once a week doesn’t mean they have my best interests in mind. That’s a tough lesson. It would be great if everyone who graced the doors of the church on Sunday knew Jesus and walked with him in an effort to be sanctified as the Word states. But the reality is that the church’s doors are open to all, at every level and place in their walk, as it should be. We can’t assume that because a person has gone to Church for 20 years that they have used that entire time to mature and are looking out for you. This isn’t to condemn or judge, but to make the people who have a bent to trust without requiring people to earn that trust, aware that you need to expect your brothers and sisters in which you are thinking of being vulnerable with to “Show you the Fruit!”
There’s such a tender picture of the Father’s heart manifested through women. The Mother’s heart; which I’ve seen manifested in women like myself who have a quiver full and equally as powerful in the ladies who are praying for a quiver full. I’m always amazed by women who open their hearts by choice.
We will not need to fight our way through in our own strength, or battle with human weapons. We simply need to guard our hearts and attitudes against mindsets that will leave us lingering in the desert longer. That being said, with a heart of obedience I will begin cleaning out the headquarters of Simply Eve Fragrances. I will do so knowing that it once was a room intended for my beautiful Eve, and the Lord changed it to a healing room where products were born to help people.
